Hey guys! So jessie and i have been super busy in the kitchen and came up with this delicious vegan apple crisp! So yummy and healthy to boot! We hope everyone is enjoying their day. DETAILS BELOW,, much loves babes!
To start out:
Preheat the oven 400 degrees Bake time: 40 minutes Round class baking dish
4-6 large honey crisp apples– skinned and sliced thinly
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp of cinnamon
1/2 juiced lemon
Directions: In a large zip lock baggy, mix all the ingredients above! Shake up well and make sure the apples get nice and covered!
Next to make the topping…. yummy!!
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp of unbleached flour
1 tbsp of almond flax meal
1/2 cup of raw oats
1/2 tsp of apple spice
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 1/2 coconut oil
pinch of salt and cinnamon for good measure!
Directions: Mix ingredients in a bowl. Then coat the glass baking dish with a little bit of coconut oil. Then start the layering process. A layer of the apples and just a sprinkle of the topping. Once you get to the top sprinkle the majority of the topping on top and dust with some cinnamon ! Pop in the oven for 40 min and wait for the smells to permeate your kitchen!
