So if you’re not trying to get extra protein in your diet, or don’t like the taste of protein powder I would consider leaving it out of the recipe! Even though ts not over powering … its all about personal preference! Just wanted to warn you guys! Any who.. here’s our first attempt at vegan pancakes! Hope you guys enjoy!
Ingredients: 1 cup unbleached flour 2 tbsp of raw sugar 1 tbsp of baking powder 1 tsp of baking soda 1 tsp of vanilla extract 1/4 cup of coconut oil 1 1/3 cup of coconut milk (can sub in soy or almond milk) optional: 1 scoop of VEGA protein shake powder Directions, add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together well. You can use a mixer but you dont have too! Heat pan and use nonstick spray. I did about a large spoon full for each pancake! Watch for bubbling then flip! Top with agave and some fresh fruit!
